Engaged Couple

It was a beautiful afternoon for this engagement session, expecially for March, so we had to go outside for a few pictures. I am looking forward to taking pictures for this couple's outdoor wedding later this summer!

Engagement Session

We have been busy the last few weeks totally redoing the main bathroom. Thankfully, it is nearing completion tonight!! Nick is finishing hanging the towel bars, etc and there is a bit of caulking still needs to be touched up around the tub/shower. The best thing is having the toilet back in! Of course, making that trip to the basement was good exercise! :-) I need to clean it all up and get stuff back into the cupboards and then I'll try to take some pictures to post here.

I did this engagement session in the midst of our renovation project. Hopefully they didn't mind our mess too much. I am looking forward to taking their wedding pictures in June.

This was a morning session and our grass was freshly mowed and very wet with dew. Needless to say we had very grass covered feet before we were done. I really enjoyed getting to meet this couple and I look forward to taking their wedding pictures!

These are from last weekend. We had a really fun weekend and the weather was great! This couple are friends of my son in Minnesota and they came and spent the weekend with us and got their engagement pictures taken! I am looking forward to taking their wedding pictures in September.

Engagement Photos

I took engagement pictures for two couples on Sunday and one the previous Sunday. They all wanted pictures taken outside and the wind was blowing really hard both days so it was difficult to get pictures without hair blowing around like crazy. I like getting to know the couples while taking the engagement pictures as it helps me to be able to take wedding pictures that reflect their personalities as well as their relationship.

Spring?

Hope the Easter bunny hadn't gotten rid of his winter coat! We woke up to a bit of snow this morning....so much for spring being here!! By noon most of the snow had disappeared but it is still chilly and cloudy.

Took engagement pictures for a cute couple this afternoon...might post some of those later. Their wedding is April 19. That is the first of the many weddings I have booked for this year. I really enjoy taking wedding pictures and every wedding is different so you have a lot of creative opportunities. Okay, it is stressful too because you don't want to mess up, but it is still a lot of fun!
